Wandering the Runge Nature Center Trail

The weather was wonderful yesterday and we did manage make it to the Nature Center--but later than I had hoped and the indoors part was closed for the day. We had lots of fun wandering the trail nevertheless. We saw lots of bunnies, squirrels, a couple of deer and lots of animal tracks in the mud along the ponds. The foliage was beautiful. Even the poison ivy!! :-)

Since we didn't get to do the indoor activity center we may go back soon. The little boys especially love the exhibits.

Now we have to say goodbye to the lovely fall weather as we are back to the chilly rain again. It was wonderful while it lasted. Thank you Lord for the few beautiful days we had!!!
