Our family loves to visit both State and National Parks. The children don't enjoy it as much as DH and I do (several of the children suffer with motion sickness), so sometimes we just take off for a drive by ourselves. This last weekend was just beautiful so on Sunday I suggested to my sweetie that we head north and visit the Swan Lake National Wildlife Refuge. A gorgeous drive and the Refuge was awesome.

I'm hoping that we will be able to visit again soon. We saw lots of waterfowl, a bald eagle and lots of deer. There were also huge swarms of mosquitoes that we tried to keep from being eaten alive by.
