The Sun's Warmth

This afternoon I was out walking around and saw this in my in-laws backyard. The difference between where the sun is and where the sun has not yet been.

The warmth of the sun on a winter's day is a wonder to behold. I'm sure that this is really ho-hum for most people but I find so many of the Lord's works truly amazing--that He created the sun for light and warmth. I guess you could say that I'm a pretty simple person. :-) Yes, that's me. Simple and "earthy".

I've been thinking a lot about greenhouses lately--particularly the geo-dome models.  I would LOVE to have this...
The 51' model

You could live in there!! :-) I'm thinking of citrus trees and of tomatoes in the winter.  Then there's lettuce, carrots, peas, cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower, beets, etc... that are naturally cool season veggies.

Also I would love to learn more about solar power as well.  But that's a very complicated topic for my mind at the present.  :-)  Perhaps someday.

Wishing you all warmth and sunshine.  :-)

That is exactly what I am saying - just open your eyes and see what God can do. sandie

I would also love to have a greenhouse like that. I have been dreaming of raising strawberries during the winter for a long time already.

Maybe someday. :)
